About SRI Homes

Supplying homes to families for over 40 years.

Our Story

The first SRI factory (Shelter Home Systems), located in Estevan, SK began building homes in 1978.  In 1985, the second SRI factory (SRI Regent), in Lethbridge, AB was acquired.  Rounding out the Western Canadian factories (SRI Kelowna), the Kelowna factory began producing homes in 1992. To date, over 45,000 homes have been built between the three factories.

Our Factories

With over 65 acres of property and 300,000 sq. ft. of factory space, SRI’s three Western Canadian factories are well poised to service customers from Vancouver Island to Ontario and from the US border north into the Yukon and Northwest Territories.

Our Homes

Building homes in a controlled factory environment and out of the weather has many advantages; no weather related damage and no delays due to inclement weather. Every phase of the home construction process can easily be inspected to ensure rigorous quality standards are met. Additionally, this building method offers significant cost savings by volume purchasing of building materials as well as reduced wastage.
